Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum named her daughter this today and it is a family named pronounced Eyes-lee. Good luck with people getting that right.
I am all for family names, I love that connection to previous generations, but I hate it when I have no fucking clue how to say the name correctly. lol
I know someone with Eisele as the spelling of their last name and this is how they pronounce it.
ETA: I know that giving kids surnames as first names is more common in the south. I know a few folks who had their mom's maiden name as their first name.
