So I'm thinking of doing white beadboard in the nursery rather than a board and batten type wainscotting. I think it would look darling in a nursery/kid's room,a nd my original idea was probably a bit much for the space (maybe in a hallway or dining room). But I want to do it right.
Any recommendations for installation? Liquid nails + small nails for attaching to the walls? Are the kits good? I see kits with 1 ft wide pieces of beadboard -- seems like these would be easier for working around outlets. Should I remove the builder grade base board and do something a little thicker/nicer? Is suppose I could stack the beadboard on a 3-4" base board and finish the seam with another piece of transition molding. Thoughts?
I know some of you have used it in your bathrooms (Fox maybe?).

Just don't glue it to the wall! Our previous owners had it all over in the family room, kitchen, and master bedroom - and it was 5 feet tall... yuck! When we removed it this summer, the plaster ripped off the wall since it had been glued. We had to pay to have our walls retextured almost floor to ceiling.

Really, no glue? Maybe I'll do some research on This Old House. The piecemeal approach seems unnecessarily labor intensive, but I don't want the kit boards to warp or separate.
