We are getting ready to do a complete bathroom master remodel and I'd like someone to help me with the new layout. I know generally where I want things to go but am wondering if there is a better way to use the space. I don't want the person to pick materials/colors, I've already done that. How do I go about finding a designer (I don't know anyone who has used one)? What type of questions do I ask? I assume I need to talk to a few people before picking someone?
If you're thinking a big box store "designer" don't bother. A real bath/kitchen designer is the way to go or post pictures and floorplans here! We can at least give you some ideas. I <3 bathroom designs and completely redesigned two of our bathrooms. They were both guts but one was a reasonably priced minor changes that made a big impact and the other was an all out go big or go home design.
We used an architect for our renovation. Certainly one can be hired for a single room....we were very impressed with his creative use of space & are excited to see it move from plans to construction!
