How are you all doing? I'm slated to run Week 4, Day 2 of Couch to 10K. I had a really hard time on Monday night doing Day 1. I'm probably going to be walking faster than I jog, as my shins and calves are killing me.
In other news, I joined a fitness Meetup group and attended my first session last night. They were doing Turbo Jam. I thought I was going to die.
I did week 4 day 2 this morning. It went ok. But Wednesday is usually the hardest day for me. I am using some podcasts that I downloaded to my phone, and I only download them as I need them. I don't even look to see what the program is for the week before I walk out of the door for Day 1. So, my mental conversations before my "run" kind of go like this:
Monday: I have to do WHAT???
Wednesday: Ugh! I don't know if I can do this again...
I'm tanking this week. I got my period today and was suffering from a bad headache on Sunday. Since I'm flying tonight, I didn't want to dehydrate myself anymore. I'll be getting some runs in up in MA though. My running gear is all packed!

I thought I was acclimating to the weather yesterday morning - it didn't *seem* that bad...until I checked my time (slow). This humidity is brutal. But points for slogging through, right?
