I went to Sephora last weekend to buy new under eye concealer (fair skin, dark under eyes). I had been using TheBalm's under eye concealer. I liked it but it was no longer giving the right finished and I assumed it was because the product was old. (I mix it with my eye cream to apply it). The girl in the store recommended Makeup Forever's full cover concealer. When I got home, I found it was not covering the darkness. Any application suggestions before I return it? Any idea why she did not like TheBalm's product? TIA.

Thanks. I apply the MUF by putting on dots and dabbing/pressing them in. I'm never sure if I should be putting powder under my eyes so I just use a light dusting of face powder all over. It does not seem to be a setting issue. It was when I applied it at home that I did not like it.
I went to the BB counter years ago and had them try to hide them. The products they showed me looked thick and didn't really conceal it but maybe I'll give it another go.

I would try Bobbi Brown. I really like her concealer and I am thinking about trying the corrector as well. Two Faced also makes a really good concealer.

Apply something with an orange tint, like in this last concealer palette.. www.sephora.com/5-camouflage-cream-palette-P12630?skuId=873455 That is what my friend(who went to school for makeup and aesthetics) told me to do and it worked wonders. I use the HD invisible cover concealer and went my dark circles are bad, I use the orange in this palette.

Mine are horrible and I've tried almost everything. My favs were Amazing Costmetic's concealer and Benefits Confessions of a Concealaholic kit. That's what I use now. They are still there to a point because the skin is actually sunken in there as well which you can't hide... but it does cover the actual color imperfections well.
