Do they do this every year? I just saw they are doing a 20% off event. Is that the highest discount they do? Should I jump at this opportunity or wait cuz they might do it again next year?
As PP said, they do tend to do them twice a year with certain percentages off for certain amounts spent, BUT there have been some years they don't have them at all. It seems like it happens when they're discontinuing a line (or several) and need to get rid of those parts to bring in new stuff--the good news is, regardless of it being discontinued or not does not affect the item's eligibility for the discount.
Most of the countertops are available online and can be delivered. I just threw 2 - 8' beech tops in my cart and calculated shipping to my zip and it came out to $99. That's fair, IMO.
However, be aware that if you live on the longest named street in Indy like I do, Ikea will inevitably get your address wrong no matter how many times you spell it out for them and send the delivery men all over town. Yes, I speak from experience.
munkii it's a good thing we have an Ikea in town because we have a long street name too. It's three words and the first two words are the name of the street it connects from and the other word is the street name where it connects to. Brilliant, eh?
