I have almost the exact same situation this Saturday--land at 6:10 AM and depart at 10:30 PM.
I am doing a morning desert safari wth Desert Safari Dubai (also looked at Arabian Adventures but this one had an earlier pickup/dropoff so more time in city). I am then meeting a colleague's brother to drive through Sheikh Zayed (look at buildings, maybe stop at beach, stop for his 12:30 prayers), Dubai Mall (top of Burj Khalifa, a bit of the fountains), then Abra Dock/gold souq/spice souq. He said we should be able to do all of this by 6/6:30 if I am willing to move quickly. I hope this is all possible with Ramadan.
If you go to the Burj Khalifa, you will want to buy your tickets in advance. It is 125 AED more than 24 hours in advance but 400 AED if you buy in person that day.

Hope you enjoy your trip as well!
This is incorrect. You can still buy tickets the day of for 125 AED, but it's possible timings will be sold out.
The 400 AED is only for those who want to buy tickets for a time that is sold out....I posted this on your other thread Blessed, but here it is :-)
I'm doing a desert safari this evening and I'm trying to figure out what to do in the meantime. I have a crazy travel schedule this week of travelling every single day from Mon-Fri, so I'm contemplating just relaxing in my hotel until 3 and eating the free hotel food...or if I should venture out for a couple of hours.
Decisions, decisions. Thanks for the help!
Woo hoo! :-) I'd stay in your hotel and eat the free food. It's Ramadan so stores may have odd hours, and food places most likely won't be open. So relax and take it easy!
