I searched but didn't find anything...just dinners for DH and I. So far, I've got breakfast covered with Paris, Bouchon at the Venetian, and the Omelet House. We are not picky, but not interested in a $500 dinner, either. TIA!
This is a really tough question to answer. There are hundreds of amazing restaurants here. What are you wanting to spend? I know you said $500 is too much, what about $300? Is there a particular type of food you like or don't like?
And out of curiosity, why the Omelet House? It's just ok, nothing special.
ETA: My favorite restaurants on and off the strip are Le Atelier (French), Raku (Japanese), The Barrymore, Honey Salt, Culinary Dropout and Stack/Fix (different restaurants but similar concepts/same owner).
I do love Bouchon, good pick. Not sure what you mean by breakfast at Paris. The buffet is good, but I prefer brunch at Mon Ami Gabi.
If you want recs for good off the strip breakfast spots let me know. There are places much better than Omelet House.
Also, this is totally random, but I see you are a runner (and I remember you from my lurking days on H&F). If you want to run when you are out here let me know. I run in a running group that offers a free pick up/drop off service to/from the strip. We do our longer runs on Sunday but we run several times during the week as well.

Yes, $300 is doable.
I went to the Omelet House on my last trip and loved my meal...wanted to share with DH. But I'm not set on it; I would love some recs! And yes, Mon Ami Gabi.
I was looking at Stack today... Good to know its good!

That is awesome! I was hoping to get a run in on Wednesday for sure, maybe Thursday. Can you pm the details? Thanks!

vegas Kabuto was so good! Although we went there at the suggestion of some friends and we were confused for second that it was in the same place as Raku (which was also super good).

We usually don't know until a few weeks before. If you want to shoot me a PM about a week or two before you leave I'll let you know the plan.
We ate at P.U.B., Mon Ami Gabi, Hugo's Cellar, and Piero's when I went in May. I liked them all but my favorite was probably Piero's, which is off the strip (Italian). Of course, I love Italian. Mon Ami Gabi was really delicious, too. Hugo's Cellar was a neat experience because it's in Old Vegas but I think I ordered the wrong thing. I think their steaks and prime rib are probably their best dishes but I ordered chicken. I would go back, though, to try the steak. It's supposed to be very old Vegas and all the waiters were men and dressed in suits.
Mon Ami is great, you'll get a lot of recs for that because it's really reasonable. We did that for breakfast and had a really nice spread. I've been to Vegas quite a bit, but the most notable restaurants for me are probably Olives (Bellagio), Todd English P.U.B (Aria/Crystals- the lobster rolls were phenomenal, they also had cheap $3 beer). A previous poster mentioned L'atelier at MGM, and I was DYING to try it on my last visit but didn't get a chance. I've heard so many good things about it though.
