She's had an agent for a little while but this is her first audition! It's for a milk commercial! Which is funny because she's dairy intolerant (but that's in her file so I think they know- plus I don't think they actually drink during the commercial. I'm going to bring almond milk just in case and she does fine with small amounts too, so I'm not worried)
It said to practice throwing food out of the high chair- I said we don't need to practice that, she's great at it! Haha
Anyway, the audition is at 11:15 in LA. She naps at 11:30/12 so I'm a little worried that she is going to be grumpy. Please send us good vibes! And "sleep on the way there" vibes too! It's at least an hour drive so I think she might fall asleep.
Good vibes a coming your way! If you have any questions at all (like the audition process, contract ect) let me know! YAY LANEY!
Thanks! We have a great agent and a very thorough handbook but it's always nice to know someone with experience!
The industry understands kids are kids right? Haha like they don't expect too much right away? She's just young enough to not quite understand what is going on. My friend that has done this said they gave her LO a little time to warm up and didn't expect him to just show up and be comfortable- is that true in most cases? And just because I'm curious- how many major films have you worked on?

The industry totally understands that kids are kids. Mostly babies ( yes she is considered a baby still). They will probably interact with her and let her do her thing. There should be absolutely no pressure on her at all.
And for round two- I have worked on... this is all ball park.... 10-12 mega films (big budget) could be more... and over a dozen TV shows. That doesnt include the movies of the week, reality TV, and commercials that Ive worked on. A lot I suppose! lol. Ive also worn a lot of hats too. I have worked in the office, on set as an assistant director and makeup! I love working with people so I prefer the on set work opposed to the office. But I am really good at both! lol.

Thanks! Good to know from someone I trust
That's so cool! I'm jealous! I think the film industry is awesome and am secretly (I guess it's not a secret anymore haha) hoping Laney gets a big role some day!
