So I made black bean patties a couple of weeks ago and froze them. If I want to make one for J for lunch, do I need to defrost it first or can I put it right on the skillet?

I'd put it right on the skillet, on a lower temp, and throw the lid on. Once it warms up a bit, then I'd remove the lid and turn the heat up to "sear" the outsides.

I put C's frozen garden burgers directly on the skillet with a little olive oil spray and just keep flipping it until done. It takes less than 5 min - assume this would be the same?
