Any suggestions on how to do this? I've been trying all morning to get a shot, but it is seemingly impossible for my kid to stay in front of the white background, face forward, keep a neutral face, and not wave something in front of the camera. Help! How did you accomplish this? We're on shirt #3 because he keeps
I've tried standing him in front of a white wall, covering a chair in a white sheet, and laying him down on a white sheet, but he immediately escapes from all.
I took E to a local FedEx store place where they do them, and they got it on the first try! I think the novelty of the new place and staring at the huge camera helped (plus they use the special camera with the grids do they know that eyes/ears/whatever are lined up in the best way possible and can get a useable shot more easily)

We went to a CVS and just held him up but out of the frame. He was smiling a bit, but there is only so much you can do - we didn't have any problems using a pic of him smiling.
OMG go to CVS and just hold him up in front of the blue background. it should be quick and painless.
Nothing at the CVS near me is quick or painless.
I'm glad to hear so many success stories. I was avoiding those stores because when I did immigration law, I was always telling people to get their pictures redone because the CVS/Walgreens ones they'd bring me were never the right size (like 1.5" instead of 2") or were cut so that the person wasn't centered.
