Lincoln was 3 days overdue and was 6 pounds and 18.5 inches. According to home measurements, he's 21 pounds and 31 inches. His appt isn't until Friday.
I just noticed Emerson had almost the exact same birth stats as Sam (5 lbs 12 oz and 19 in). Was she early? Just curious what her 15 months stats are
Wow, they were VERY close at birth. Emerson was born 9 days early. At her 15th month appointment, she was 21 lbs. 3 oz and 30 inches tall. She's in the 25th percentile for weight and 50th for height. The doctor was concerned she wasn't eating enough, I think, because he asked me if she was a picky eater. I told him, "no, she's always been tiny. This baby eats asparagus!" What were Sam's stats at 15 months?
Emerson Kate, born 38w5d on 4/6/12 at 6:02 p.m., 5 lbs 13 oz and 18 3/4 inches. Lucas Matthew, born 39w5d on 4/11/14 at 8:20 a.m., 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches.

She was 18 lbs 5 oz and 29 inches at 15 months. No real concerns from the pedi except she wants me to try to get her to drink more milk or dairy substitutes (yogurt/cheese). She eats as much as she can in a day, I think. I feel like I am constantly offering her food!
Sam was born on her due date, she's just tiny. She has a size 3 foot, which I just found out yesterday is 6-9 months! (Well, according to Carters.) Both my mother and MIL are petite so I know it's in the genes. I'm just always comparing her weight to others, which I know is stupid! I was the size of a friggin house I was for sure I was having an 8 pound baby.
Thats great Emerson is not picky! Sam is sort of picky. She is not a fan of veggies or meat. Although she was feeding herself lasagna the other night which made me so happy
I'll chime in and say that Thad was a full term 5 pound 9 ounce baby.
I'll know his stats at the end of the week but I'm guessing 24 lbs and 32 inches.
Yay for full term tiny babies! I swear I get so wierd about this. Like, Kate was the tinniest of tiny's and she had an 8 pound baby? WTH?
I get feeling weird about size. According to my home measurements, C is around the 10th percentile for height, while my husband and I are both tall (6'3" and 5'9"). How did we make a tiny person?

G was way bigger at birth, but is now 20 lbs. 12 oz and 30.5 in tall. Our pedi is a little concerned but just told us to stop offering water with meals and always offer beverages with calories...he even said Gatorade/7up is preferable to water.

Lol!!!
Well, I was tiny and it was stressful. I would rather have looked full term because no one believed how far I was and dismissed my discomforts. Plus, I either couldn't poop to the point of needing e.r intervention or had the shits because he was so lodged in my abdomen.
I think no matter how you looked/felt in late pregnancy it feels wrong and frustrating. Lol!

Seriously?!? Gatorade and soda preferable to water?!? Wow.
My kids were huge at birth (DS 10 lbs, 22", DD 9 lbs 2oz, 21" 3 weeks early) and are currently 10% for weight, 99+% for height and we were never told to give them things to gain weight. DS was 22 lbs, 34.5" and DD was 19 lbs 14 oz, 33" at 15 months.

I didn't love that recommendation. Pedi is concerned since she's been sliding off her weight curve -- she's now around 25% and falling. He also said he didn't want her to drink too much water for electrolyte balance...I'm not sure how common or easy this is to do, but I guess I have heard of it. I do think we have been giving her too much water (she loves drinking from water bottles at home and at daycare) but for now I'll try just giving her milk. Unfortunately the last few days it's seemed like cutting out water has just meant that she's drinking less liquids overall. We don't do juice at home, though DH takes Gatorade on his bike rides.
