Turns out eggs are important

We were out of eggs but wanted to make these brownies.

Google told me that you can substitute with flour, water, and extra oil.

After 45 long minutes this failure was the result:

I am so sad.

The brownies came with a pouch of frosting so now I'm just eating the frosting. Haha.

If this happens again you can use a smashed banana as a substitute, it works great for us as does using equal parts flax and water but bananas are easier to come by. Applesauce is another sub but the other two are what we use.

Well I think eating the frosting is a good 2nd-best move.  That is what I would be doing in your situation as well

I always use applesauce. We used applesauce in the cookies I made for Harper.

ETA: If anyone wants to use applesauce as a replacement for eggs, I use 1/4 cup applesauce for every egg.

I once made a birthday cake and I forgot the eggs. It became a crumpled mess! Agree with the substitutions, applesauce for oil and bananas for eggs.

You can use a can of black beans in place of the eggs, oil, and water in brownies. Blend the whole can including the liquid.
