So I got talked into doing the Dirty Girl in September, but I have no clue how to get ready for it. I can do a 5k, but never done am obstacle course. What's the best eat to prepare?

I got talked in to doing the Dirty Girl too!! The one in Aug tho...here I was all excited thinking we'd be @ the same one!

I ran the Dirty Girl last year and plan to again this year. It wasn't that hard honestly. The obstacles are fairly simple, you just have to be prepared to crawl, climb and trudge through mud and water. There's not a good way to train for these lower key mud runs. If it was a Tough Mudder or something that might be different but these are simple and pretty easy. If you can do a 5K no problem, you'll be just fine
