I start week 5 tonight of C210K. I think I might do OK-this is the first week my legs aren't constantly sore, so I might make it. I seem to remember when I did C25K years ago, weeks 3&4 were the hardest. It's fairly cool here so it's been pleasant to go out for a jog in the evenings.
Kind of bummed though, I usually take DD with me. H moved the jogging stroller right behind my car, unbeknownst to me, so I backed into it. I was able to put it back together, but the first jog I took I found out the hard way the front wheel was bent. So until I go get a new one, I have to plan around when H is home.
Good job! (Not on running over the stroller, but on making it to week 5)
I just came back from running because they made me. I haven't gone in weeks, so instead of just going, I did week 6, day 2. The first 10 minutes were easier than I expected. The second 10 were exactly what I expected.
I ran after work. My app has had the tendency to fucking turn off halfway through the workout. Asshole. So I'm guessing I ran less than I thought I should have. Thurs I plan on trying the dreaded 20 minutes in a row. Wish me luck.
It's nice to finally find your body's happy pace. Found it last week. It's slow but I feel great when I'm done.

Malibu, I don't know how you run with a stroller! I run with a carries-her-own-weight dog on a leash and think that's hard enough!
This morning was gorgeous, and I caught the sunrise. Still not as fast as I was back during the cooler months, but SO much better than upper 70s and humid. I can't believe how much of a difference the weather makes.
I was supposed to go to the gym on Monday but had a migraine, so I skipped. I'll be there tomorrow after work. I've started transitioning to an elliptical that has the moving arm handle thingies now that my chest seems able to tolerate the motion. For the life of me I cannot understand how my pace is so different between the different machines when it feels the exact same. I bust out a 7 minute mile on the one with arm thingies and a 12 minute mile on the one without.

I did week 5 day 2 this morning. I'm not looking forward to day 3... 20 minutes with no walking?!? EEK!
I'm not sure if I'll be able to do week 6 next week, since it's MOVING WEEK but I'll probably do the first 2 days and skip Friday... I figure between packing and moving and the charity event, I'll probably get my exercise though.

Crap! I didn't realize it went up that much on day 3. I noticed that day 2 was different than day 1 (day 2 for me will be tomorrow) but up to 20 minutes on Saturday? Eep.
doctorchick - I thought it would be easier to run with a jogging stroller - you know, having the stability, but it's not. It's harder. Especially with a kid who likes to "rock out" (as she calls it) in the seat.

Yeah, I think I had a mini heart attack when I found out. But my 8 minute runs went pretty well this morning, so I'm hopeful. Depending on how it goes, I might just do Week 5 Day 3 on Monday and Wednesday of next week as well instead of trying to plunge into week 6.
What is amazing to me is that just a couple of weeks ago, I thought I was going to die after running 90 second intervals! I try to focus on how far I've come rather than how far I have to go...
