I'm watching a history of royal births (or recent ones anyway) on BBC America and Beatrice was queen Victoria's youngest daughter and it wasn't even on my radar but I think it's at the top of my girl list now

Really like it! I love it on paper more than outloud but it's really pretty.
I think I accidentally sort of dated this girl Beatrice in 9th grade. She wrote me notes about how much she liked me and gave me sweet gifts. I thought we were just best friends but she thought we were in a relationship. Woops.

It was my grandmothers name. I always thought it was an old lady name, but then in the past couple of years I realized how beautiful it is.
Also a lady at my former church was Bea Flowers (her married name). She was German and the sweetest lady, ahhhh, just all sorts of great memories with that name.
Hmmm it's kinda growing on me the more I say it! Verdict in: I like it!
That's how it was with me! They mentioned Queen V's daughter (yeah, Queen V and I are on a nickname basis) and I though, "huh, Beatrice. Beatrice.....Beatrice!"
Speaking of name twins- since we'll both hopefully get KU this cycle- my top girl name right now is Elizabeth and I know you're thinking of it too I would nn Lizzie though, you're anti-nn right?

Ladybug you must use Elizabeth!! It's a name of yours I love... that means its a sign!
It reminds me of an old lady. NMS at all. But, if you anyone is considering Beatrice, they are probably thinking the name Emerson is not their style so we're even!
