I got these board books from chick fil a. They are the little kids toy in the kids meal. Jackson freaking loves them. Like, will not read any other book, and we have to read it to him like ten times a day. They are super dumb, and I can't figure out why he loves them so much. His favorite is the cake one. What weirdo thing does your kid like/do?
Anna is obsessed with necklaces. Her first order of business of the day is to hunt down a necklace to put on. Then she wears it for the rest of the day. Sometimes she layers, sometimes she shares, but she always needs to have at least one on. I don't wear necklaces or even encourage the behavior.

Jack is obsessed with light switches. I know it is a cause and effect thing because he demands we hold him up so he can touch the switch and see the light come on. He gets the biggest smile and whips is head around to see our reaction--which MUST be one of absolute awe and pride for how smart he is. LOL.
It was cute at first, but it has gotten to the point where he will see one from across the room and reach out with an "ah! AHH!" We have really limited how much he is allowed to do it now and have bought some cause and effect toys. I will bring him with me when I need the kitchen light on and say "ok, turn the light on for mommy, please" and when he tries to turn it back off I tell him it needs to stay on and he can go play. It doesn't go over well, but we have to teach boundaries.
Public places that have light switches? Ugh. We have to distract and avoid to eliminate ridiculous tantrums.

Micah also loves necklaces, but we don't have many. Nana's house has them, and he loves them. Sometimes he wears them traditionally, other times, he likes to hold them under his chin and walk around with them that way. Since we do not have necklaces at our house, he'll put other random objects (lovey, diaper, string, book) in his chin and walk around with them.
He's also started licking things that he KNOWS he's not supposed to lick. He will look me in the eye with an "I dare you to stop me" look, lick said object, and then stick his tongue back out and try to wipe it off. The best is when his hand is covered in whatever he licked (sand, chalk, dirt) and wiping only adds to the gross in his mouth.

Tyler will only let me read 2 different books at bedtime, Goodnight iPad and I'm a Little Teapot. He screams and slams every other book shut. Also, he will flip through every book in the playroom, but he will only let me read a Yummy Yucky to him.
Also, before I can take him out of the crib, he must hand me every single blanket, animal, and pacifier in there. Then he takes them back to keep doing it again. Eventually I just have to grab him and he gets mad.
Ansley is a shoe freak. We all must wear shoes all the time. It's the first thing she does in the morning. SHe finds us all shoes and tries to put them on us. God forbid I take my shoes off at some point....it's not pretty.
I also think it's funny that she prances around with bracelets on and tries to carry things like a purse. I AM NOT GIRLY. AT ALL. I don't wear jewelry and I rarely have a purse on. She doesn't watch TV either, so I guess it really is just burned into a girl's soul from birth.
I'm so glad I don't have the only shoe addict. C FREAKS if she sees shoes and they aren't on her feet. She also likes to play with my flip flops and take them off and put them back on my feet.
Tonight she decided she wanted to scrub my kitchen with a scrub brush. I should have taken a picture so when she's older and fighting me on chores I can show her how enthusiastic she used to be. Haha
Zoe does that, too.
If Zoe gets her hands on a dish towel or a paper towel, she starts trying to clean the floor.
