I might start C25K in the fall but right now I'm just trying to be more active in general.
H and I got Fitbit bracelets yesterday. It syncs to your computer or your smart phone and logs your food intake, weight loss goals, water intake, sleep, and how many steps you take. It also measures your active movement. It's water proof and doesn't look like anything but a black rubber bracelet. You can choose your own weight loss intensity (we're doing 1.5lbs a week). It will adjust your allotted calories depending on how active you've been, always allowing for the caloric deficit for your weight loss goals.
I am trying to be more active too, I do have to be better about tracking my intake in MFP though. I need to make sure I am not eating too few calories for my activity level.
Yesterday all I ate way cookies, gummy frogs, and a donut. Today will be better.
I would totally participate in this post though. I've been trying to improve the way we eat. We eat out too much and we both eat horrible lunches. I've been trying a whole bunch of new lunch ideas and they've been excellent!

I also want to get more healthy recipes. We're trying to do more meal planning and if I can get better calorie counts that would make it so much more awesome.
I have been trying to eat better. I have decided that anything sweet that I want to eat has to be a fruit. So hopefully I'll eat more fruits and get a fix on my sweet tooth.
I've noticed a serious lack of wrathofkuus posting. Revitalize the board!
I was just tired of the weekly running posts since I don't run.
In that case, I'll just give you a pro-health tip that I realized last night: did you know that, if you add enough butter and cream, having a pot of mashed potatoes and a mimosa is a good, balanced meal?

Protein, carbs and fruit - I'm totally on board with that.
