Does this lamp work? Edit- New Lamp, New PIP

Okay I'm keeping the original PIPs for reference, but here is the new one.  It's actually a lamp I've had for years and just remembered it was collecting dust in the storage closet. So is this better?? Or is it too much circles going on? Thanks for any updated opinions.





Does this lamp work on this table or is the scale all off? I just bought the lamp yesterday with the intents of using it on my foyer table, but now I'm not so sure. ( disregard the plastic on the shade, dangling cords, and hanging price tag)

Scale is off, I think you need something tall and skinny to balance with the vases.

I would look for a buffet lamp.

You need height, but it can't have a shade with a larger diameter because the table isn't wide enough for a standard lamp and shade.
