I think it is fun to know who you are decorating a nursery for, although my daughter wanted a pirate nursery either way, so it wouldn't have made a difference.
I don't think we will paint pink, but I definitely want to do some girly bedding. Everything else I picked out is really neutral. I emailed my mom the pink zoology fabric link and asked if she can help (ahem, make) a bed skirt, changing pad, and maybe some sort of curtain. Then we can get cheap plain store sheets. I do love the pottery barn zoo sheets but they don't sell the print in anything but the sheet.
So I think the paint may end up really boring. I don't know!
Are you going to use any of the other Michael Miller prints to coordinate?
I hadn't planned yet. I will not plan a super glam nursery, but really wanted a pattern and probably just solid for everything else. Maybe I can talk H into one wall with pink stripes or something but I won't hold my breath. or maybe pink chevron sheets or something.
The coordinating stripes would be a cute accent....a binding or ruffle on something or sheets. Or maybe you could use a couple of them in small ways, like as matting for art or on the back of a bookshelf or something.
It is all in the details....a little goes a long way.
