do you have some stuff on multiple registries? like the burp clothes and A+A blankets? because you registered for a ton of those!
Are you guys not registering for a swing/bouncer? something that you can turn on a vibrate or swing feature since the RnP, you have to manually rock.
Your registry covered most of the basics. If you are looking for more stuff to add, you can always add some medical stuff. Did you have a nose frieda on there? If not, one of those or the battery powered nasal aspirator. Both are so much easier to use!
I think you'll find out quickly what types of swaddles you are going to end up using so you might not need all of them, but I think its better to have all the options up front especially if you want to change something in the middle of the night!
Good idea! I'm a STM, so I don't have a registry this time around, but I'm happy to chime in.
I agree on the swing or bouncer. Those were lifesavers with my DD. You might also consider a jumper or exerciser, which they will graduate to once they're a little bigger. Having somewhere to put the baby is pretty much the only way you get anything accomplished (like showering). So, we had one of everything, and my DD loved them all.
Also, if you're looking to add more, consider a few more bath supplies: hooded towels and some toy storage for the tub.
I will get rid of some of the burp clothes/blankets (I originally only registered at Target, and then moved to Amazon and BRU).
What do you suggest for a bouncer/swing?
I know they make swing/bouncer combos that don't seem super large (if you are trying to save on space). They seem nice because you can just pick the main part up out of the swing base and it becomes a small bouncer, you can carry around. I can't remember the brand I saw at BRU that looked nice so I'll try and find a link to it on Amazon. We have a regular swing (Snugabunny) that we love, but its HUGE. I would still recommend it though to anyone that has the room!
Also Bright Stars makes a nice portable swing that is compact and doesn't take up as much space as most swings!
A few things you could add: safety items (cabinet locks, outlet plugs) bath toys teethers mesh feeders more bibs more crib sheets (I think I only saw one) sound machine baby spoons diaper pail (looks like you're going to CD but you still need somewhere to put the dirties) bouncer swing toys
I am a FTM so I don't have any advice since I am in the same boat but my DH registered for the JJ Cole diaper bag and it was gifted to us this weekend at my shower and he loves it so much when I came home and he was able to go through the gifts he wouldn't take it off and started filling it with wipes and bibs right away. I had to remind him that all that needed to be washed first.

I put this one for a bouncer/swing combo: Graco Duet Connect 2-in-1 Swing and Bouncer - Monroe
EDIT: except now that I look at it, it is huge.
Graco makes another 2-in-1 bouncer swing, has glider in the name. I'm on my phone or I'd link it. I posted asking if anyone had it on MMMs yesterday. It looks to have a much smaller footprint than the duet.

Thank you!
What is a mesh feeder?
That's probably not the proper term for them but it's this:
I'm a FTM, but I know my SIL used it a lot to give my niece bananas and other fresh fruit. She also would put a frozen chunk of banana inside when my niece was teething. It allows them to feed themselves fresh food at a pretty young age because only small bits of food can get through the mesh.
Actually, I think the only difference might be the colors and the fact that it can be taken off and baby carried around (I'm not sure our place is big enough to care about that...) and we have a smaller dog so I'm not sure I'd use the bouncer feature as much.
So the one you registered for does come off the base, but the one I posted above does not come off the base?

I would suggest adding a sound machine, a diaper bag, and wet bag storage for dirty cloth diapers - 2 big wet bags for home to use in a step garbage pail and one small/med size for the diaper bag.
On the Gerber prefolds - do you plan to diaper with those or use for burp cloths? I've heard they are not very absorbant/leak. I think Chinese prefolds are betters. **Just what I've heard and don't have any personal experience yet.
ETA - never mind about the diaper bag. I see the JJ Cole bag now.

Do you have 2 rock n plays on there?
Also they make washable nursing pads. Just a thought if you are short on storage space, you won't have to keep big boxes of the disposables around and can just have a few re-usable ones?

Yeah, I didn't realize that until someone pointed it out, lol.
thanks for the recs on re-useable pad, I will look into that. And I will change to the Chinese per-folds.
We have the Fisher Price Snug-a-Bunny swing; it's great. Whatever you get, make sure it has an A/C adapter so you can plug it in -- otherwise, it will blow through batteries if your baby uses it a lot. My DD napped in hers almost exclusively for six months, so we probably would have spent more on batteries than the swing itself had ours not plugged in.
Another good registry item I thought of: Sophie the Giraffe. Totally overpriced teether, so perfect for someone else to buy you. My DD adored it.

Ok, now I am all sorts of confused, LOL.
Do I need a RnP, swing and a bouncer?
And I cannot find any bouncers that have an a/c adapter.

I think all (or most) of the bouncers are battery operated. Some of the newer swing models can be plugged in, though. The bouncers don't eat up the batteries like the swings do, so it's less of a concern with them.
You definitely don't need all three. A swing/bouncer combo might be best -- I don't remember seeing them when I had my DD. It's tough because you really don't know what your baby will love. My DD was a horrible sleeper and needed the swing's motion to sleep, so it was a lifesaver for us. But I know others whose babies didn't love them. Helpful, huh? Sorry -- don't mean to add to the confusion!
