I'm currently running in Brooks Glycerin 10s after getting fitted at a LRS. Lately my lower legs have been achy and I noticed I probably have over 300-350 miles on these shoes so I figure it's time for a new pair. I had some trouble adjusting to the shoes when I first got them but for the most part they've been okay. I would like to try a new brand/shoe but I'm in the middle of training for my 1st half in 2 months and afraid to try something different after I had a rough adjustment the last time. I can get the same model on sale right now so would you recommend just replacing them with the same model and try a new shoe as a reward after my race?

I guess I'm a bit late. but I would definitely concur with getting the same shoes. I had been running in Glycerin 10s, and thought there was something better out there. I had a horrible time with Asics, and ended up going back to the Glycerins (the 11s). I do really like the 11s- even better than the 10s- I found them to be a bit lighter and less restrictive.
