I know they're not anyone else's style on here, but you all know that's how I roll.
H and I both wanted to do cows. Everything for "baby" that we run across is so completely cheesey/cutesy or just plain ugly. H requested if we do cows he wanted it more real life.
So I bought these today. Each is 11x14. The girl that paints them actually lives on her own dairy farm not too far from me. So I feel good about that.
Down the line I can put them up seasonally one at a time somewhere else in my house.
The new baby room has a big wall so the set of 4 will look great there I'm thinking.
I need to buy frames but I don't know what color just yet. Walls are bright aqua if there's any suggestions.
I'm just going to get some plain crib sheets at Target. All the cow ones aren't Holstein or they're expensive. 4 pictures is enough cow theme anyways.
It's also exciting that other than a new rocker/recliner that's all I have to buy for baby's room really.

I like them. Cows are cute, especially fluffy show cows like this one.
I'm mad at myself. I had the opportunity to feed some baby dairy cows their bottles and passed on the opportunity. I was a little nervous. I should have. There were also twin baby cows that were just born a couple days before, so so cute.

I like those pictures a lot Dairy. Also, what the heck with this cow. Lol, it's like a cow-dog-bear.

pitterwoo Apparently, those are fluffy dairy show cows. They get their hair fluffed out for shows. I'd never even heard of this, but I think someone on ML may have posted a picture of one once. They're so cute, IMO.
There was a painting of a cow named Mirabelle that I love so much, but it is thousands of dollars. Before I knew the price my husband was like, a cow?! But it was just so beautifully done and I come from a dairy farmer background, so yes, I wanted a beautiful cow. Maybe someday I'll try painting it myself.
I think that's cute! Less is probably more when it comes to cow, but I love getting art from local artisans! Maaaaybe just try to find a cow-themed throw to go over the rocker or throw rug? Just to tie it together.
