Really? I love Target. Clothes are hit or miss, but I like a lot of their home and outdoor stuff, especially when I'm looking for something inexpensive.
I'm not a fan of Target. Every single one I've been in to is disappointing.
I wish I was. I used to work in a shopping center that had a Target. I went in there only for Starbucks. I tried finding clothes there, nada. Tried finding home goods- ended up at Ross buying more for less. Their food selection isn't as good as the grocery store I normally go to.
I love Target. Their toddler shoe selection is pretty much non-existent though. So if you're basing it on that, then yes, it would suck.
The toddler clothes suck too. Who needs a four piece shapeless Carter's pyjama set? The food was more expensive than other places so it's not worth it in that regard. The outdoor stuff has been replaced by school supplies.
That's true. But I do like their toddler leggings. Our Target's food prices are really good compared to the grocery store prices around here. Stupid SoCal.
I love Target, but I don't have kids and have no idea about their children's shoes or clothes sections.
I like the women's clothes they have and have found some really cute things, both for work and to wear casually, for good prices. I also like their workout clothes. Our house also has a lot of decor and whatnot from Target in it.
Our Target has a Starbucks in it, as well, which probably contributes to my liking it. And I agree that the carts there are awesome. SO much better than the grocery store carts. They just feel so light and easily-movable; it's like floating on air to push them!
I must be blessed with some kick ass targets. All of the ones near me are fully stocked and there's not a lot of everyday necessities that I can't get there. Plus with the 5% red card discount...that shit is fucking GOLDEN.
I love target but I think that the American ones are much better than the Canadian especially the shoe department.
The ones I've been to so far have been basically identical in lay out and merchandise, unless there's some sort of super Target I've never heard of.
I'm loling at this because there are larger targets... called Super Target.
Maybe they don't have those anymore though. They were different because of their large grocery section but most targets now have that, or are being renovated to include it.

Super Targets do have an even larger grocery section. It is a full grocery store plus a full Target, like Meijer or Super WalMart.
I've never warmed up to Target, but I'm not sure I've given it enough of a chance.
You want to talk about a really useless store, let's talk about CVS. Every single thing is a unnecessary piece of crap, imo. lol. Maybe not bandaids, but just about everything else.
Huh, I love Target. The kids clothes are adorable, and I like their workout stuff, too. They have food stuff I can't get at the grocery store, like Chobani flips and the dragon fruit flavor of Chobani Champions for M & N. And good toys! Also, lol @ the super target thing.
Those glasses on David in my sig are from the dollar bin.
No, I don't have the love affair with Target that everyone else seems to have. I did buy two pairs of shoes for David there and he wore the hell out of them but haven't been able to find any in his size since.
I do like their women's shoes some seasons but it's hit or miss. Not a fan of their clothes. I rarely find anything that fits right on me. I do like their accessories, though (earrings, scarves, purses...)
I'm not a target fan...and I had even worked there. Before I was 19, I was never inside of one.
However, that doesn't prevent me from having the Target check card or when I worked there, using my 10% discount left and right. I'm fairly sure I gave a whole pay check or two to them, no questions asked. Lol.
But I don't make it a point to go there. And often times, I can find the same item cheaper on Amazon or somewhere else.

I love Target, but I do have a hell of a time buying baby and kid gifts there. It seems like as soon as I find something that I would buy, it turns out they have it in one size and it's not the one I need.
