Nice! You're on your way! Just remember to stay smooth on the bike. I know you are concerned about the cutoff times, but don't kill yourself to get there, because you'll just pay for it big time on the run!

You know, I think Im worried about the unknown, I've done so few 100 milers I just don't know what my time is going to be. It's a pretty hilly course and I've been riding on hills, but I just don't know! I need to focus on the fact that my last 100 mile ride was almost 16 minutes faster than my first! It can only get better right?

Absolutely! And, you'll be on fresh legs on race day, so it will be better! But, that's where it can be tricky. You're rested and feeling good, so you push it. Don't! For the first 50 miles or so, ride one gear easier than you know you can handle. Don't worry if others are mashing big gears. Just do your thing. You'll see a lot of fast cyclists walking the marathon because of their overconfidence on the bike. It's a classic mistake.
