The dialogue that Christopher Meloni's character had was odd. Like, that "gets my pickle" or some shit like that... It sounded too forced. Seems like a lot of set up for later episodes.
I think Tara will be back. I just don't like that she's been turned. I dislike it very, very much. Not that Tara was my favorite TB character, but I did get tired of the angry black girl role she plays. It was funny in Season 1, but not in Season 5, it doesn't provide her character with any dept. Now, she's angry, self-loathing, black girl vampire. You can do better Alan Ball.
And the best comparison I have for lack of depth vs. depth is Jessica. She was the good-christian girl caught by Bill, forced to be turned. Then she was petulant -teen baby vamp, now she's maturing like a college student would. She's actually growing; whereas, Tara is still Tara now just an angrier Tara.
The Authority vs. the Sanguanistas is going to be very interesting. I have a lot of hope for this plot.
Terry and Patrick. Patrick is shady to me. There is something else there.
Luna and Emma - Poor Luna. What is she to do with a baby Were?

I think Patrick might actually be the cause of what is happening. He's using Terry to get to the guy who has gone off grid (to kill him like the others), then he'll turn on Terry.

That's the same thing my co-worker said when we discussed it this morning.
I was trying to think last night what was in the books the last season and this, and I'm not coming up with anything. They're going into new territory. I like it, especially the way the last couple of books have played out.
I kinda felt like the way the interrogators were speaking was indirectly telling the audience that THEY were Sanguinistas. As in, the lady doth protest too much kind of thing.
I am pumped for this season. I like how they're bringing in new elements like the Vampire bible, the story of Lilith, and the Authority. And I lurve getting into Pam's backstory.
