This week, whatever H feeds us! There was some kind of chicken tagine situation shaping up in the crock pot when I left this morning. I also saw "wadded beef" on the list for the week, which I think means something having to do with braised London broil. But you can never be too sure with H, only sure that it will be yummy.

I went insane at the farmer's market this week....
Ball squash stuffed with rice, beans, and local goat cheese Salmon burgers, roasted potatoes and turnips. Another random veggie. Mac n cheese, BBQ baked beans, collard greens Mushroom, barley, sugar snap pea casserole shrimp po boys and salad poached eggs over random veggies
I don't meal plan, but really should. The definites for this week include leftover fritata, lefotver gnocchi (today's lunch), greek yogurt, apples, cherries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, tomato soup, and tuna and turkey sandwiches.
That makes me feel better about what you are eating, Fuss! I was a little worried for you. I do weekday dinners, but Brad usually cooks on the weekends. It is nice to sit back and have dinner magically appear in front of you!
We will have stir fry this week with veggies and tofu and rice. Pasta with asparagus. Maybe quinoa with kale pesto. Time to break out my trusty books!
We don't have a meal plan, but here are some things I know we'll eat: sweet potato fries. Probably stir fry. Probably something pasta, probably lots of green salads, and maybe a pizza.
Here are the ingredients we have this week, I don't usually know a lot of FI's meal plans though: the meats: hamburgers (ground beef and sandwich thins) tuna steaks a whole chicken
the veggies: broccolli snap peas lettuce kale
and usually some type of starch like sweet potatoes or quinoa.

Now that I'm home I wish to elaborate on exactly what H's meal plan for the week says, to put the issue of wadded beef in context:
Su - grill steak M - crockchicken Tu - chickenbeans W - beefo Th - fish daggers F - wadded beef
I honestly have no idea if beefo and wadded beef are two different things or if one will entail leftovers of the other. But seriously, he is an awesome cook.

Sun - Pork & Veg Lo Mein Mon - Sausage with Peppers & Onions Tue - I have book club, H will have leftover pork & veg over rice Wed - Something with chicken & potatoes - maybe Greek style with lots of lemon and salt in the oven Thurs - CSA Day so I'm thinking marinated London broil with a bunch of veggies on the grill
I have not thought that far ahead. I feel like we have so many repeats. It's too hot for the oven, so it's either the grill, stovetop or pressure cooker. Maybe I'll pan fry some tilapia tonight.
