/dead at "my friend Rachel from texas". I do this all the time. When I know first names that is. But sometimes even then, it stays to "my friend booby from Toronto" and "my friend Moe" because their names are just too awesome, lol.

#15 is sooo true - I'm all nervous when I meet nesties, even though I know you guys better than people that I'm legally obligated to spend major holidays with
And #21 makes it awkward to talk about you guys. "So, fuckstick said to pay-pee..."

When I first met local people from my board over on the Nest, I called them the "girls from my book club" because I couldn't begin to go into how we met on the Knot while planning weddings, got married, moved to the nest, spoke every day and then finally (in some cases) met in person.

The video at the end with the two friends running and hugging at the airport was cute, but I don't think that will ever be me. Last october I met someone I had been talking to online for 8 or 9 years and we both kind of walked up to each other and went, "hey." lol.
You know what's so weird? When your Internet friends become IRL friends to the point that you totally forget they were once just Internet friends, and you find yourself wanting to talk about something you heard on the board and you're like, "Oh, I have this friend who said...oh wait a second, you're on ML too, LOL!!!"
This is jodippls and me. When people ask us how we met we always look at each other and laugh. "Ohh... Umm, mutual friends..." lol!
