This is really more of a vent. I feel like I have so many Dr appts and I can't get things done at work the way I would if I didn't have to take random half days off every other week (or lately every week).
It's hard enough for me to get up at 5:30am so coming in to work early isn't really an option, and I'm so tired at the end of the day it's also difficult for me to stay late.
Aaannnnnd H just called to say he's stuck in traffic and won't be able to make the Dr appt w/ me on time.

I could have written this post! I have GD so my meals are all on a pretty strict schedule to prevent hypoglycemia, which makes it very difficult to stay late. I start having very frequent doctor appointments in the next couple of weeks due to the GD, so I will be missing a lot of work for that, which only makes it worse. I've been completely slammed at work and I don't see it easing up before the baby arrives. Maternity leave almost sounds like a vacation at this point!

I feel the same way. Between the regular OB, high risk dr and the blood tests, plus all the time I have come in late because I have been too sick to leave the house, I feel like such a slacker. Plus second tri I feel more tired than I did first tri... ugh.
