Willow has not been eating well the last few days. She is being stubborn and it is with things that she has always liked. She will just turn her nose up to almost everything. I don't want to give in and let her live on Gerber cereal bars and yogurt, this is exactly what she wants. I know that it is pretty common to slow down with growth and eating at this point but one bite of chicken a day is not enough! She starts pointing and whining to get a bar. Every time I open the fridge she will try to grab a yogurt. Today she threw the eggs I made for her at my dog. I made chicken and veggies for lunch, she ate one bite. Supper was a big bust too, refusing anything I put on her plate. I am afraid to offer her too much of a variety because as she gets older I want for her not to have the option of another meal. I have had a stomach bug since last Thursday that I can't shake, I've been feeling almost hungover. My DH had been sick with it over the weekend. I am wondering if she may feel a little bit sick too.
What has been going with everyone else and meal time?
Yea maybe she isn't feeling 100%. Lillian goes through times where she doesn't eat a lot today being one of them. For breakfast she didn't finish her banana and usually eats that and a cereal bar. DC wrote she only ate a little bit of lunch. Dinner she ate a few peas and a couple bites of dinner.
L has a cold and her last 2 molars are coming because her gums are swollen, so that's part of it too for us. I wouldn't worry yet, especally if you two aren't feeling well. But me personally, I'd give her what she will eat after offering her what you made if she refuses it.
My pediatrician calls toddlers "peculiar eaters" and stresses that we shouldn't always give in to their demands. But, she also stresses that we should be sure to offer food we know they like for one meal a day. So, at least let her have the yogurt for one meal.

She did have yogurt today and a cereal bar but I am thinking I am going to have to hide the bars. If my kitchen cabinet is open and she sees them she will be relentless. I have a bad habit of leaving that one open too because her cups, plates, bowls and some of her snacky foods are in there. She was a crank pot today too, acted tired most of the day even after a long afternoon nap. I am just going to keep an extra eye on her for the next day or so and hopefully we are all feeling better soon. I had to take medication to cut back on the stomach issues I've been having.
My usually perfect eater (sorry to those whose little ones don't like to eat) has spent the last week or so side eying so many things I have given him, it has really thrown me. All I can think of is teething. Adam (ds1) is almost 5 and has always been a great eater but has had periods if time when he eats like a bird, don't lose hope, it's likely a short phase. I am counting on Nolan returning to his piggy ways soon.

Jack's appetite is pretty crappy lately. But I'm 99% sure it is his molars. It can't be fun to eat anything with painful, swollen gums. Tonight he ate a good amount of scrambled eggs and asparagus though. Try soft foods!
