I have been really diligent about eating healthy, and I know we all need to eat in moderations, but today I had a lunch order of chimichanga and (lots of fried) tortilla chips and I just feel guilty. Not sure why, as I’m pretty good about eating healthy every day at every meal, but I hate feeling guilty like this. While I did eat a lot of tortilla chips, I did eat a moderate/small chimichanga, and had beans vs. Mexican rice, I still feel guilty. I hate feeling like this! I don’t want to “diet”- I want to follow healthy eating habits daily. My head tells me it’s ok to do this in moderation, but my gut tells me I should have eaten my packed lunch of spinach chicken salad, etc.
Does anyone else feel like this? I need to get out of this guilty funk.
Every once in awhile, you just have to splurge. For your sanity, for your happiness -- it's just necessary.
That being said, you can't let it get out of control and I weigh myself every morning to make sure my "fuck this shit I'll have 2!" attitude doesn't get out of hand....

I do feel guilty, but mostly it’s because eating the bad food makes me feel bad physically. I enjoy a big Chipotle burrito with chips, but then I feel disgusting 30min later when I have to be rolled out of the place…

I ate a box of macaroni and cheese for lunch. That's the type of day I am having. I feel a little guilty about it but I'll make up for it in some way later down the road.
