Can you tell your cheese eating habits interest me? People that buy a block of cheese and also pre sliced cheese, do you buy like blocks of cheddar and slices of cheddar? Or are they different types of cheese?
I buy the two pound blocks of cheese (Tillamook baby loaves), so the thought of buying a block and then also buying sliced cheese seems bizarre.

We buy it according to how we're going to use it. Blocks of cheddar to cube for Caleb, sliced CJ for Dh's sandwiches and shredded cheddar and mozzarella for meals.
I buy blocks of cheddar, colby jack and mozzarella for cubing and shredding.. I buy slices of American for DH, and I'll buy sliced pepper jack or provalone if I find a good sale. I also stock up on shredded cheddar and mexican blend when it's on sale for DH or if I'm in a hurry.
I always have on hand blocks of cheddar, Munster, and Colby jack for making Mac and cheese. I only buy sliced cheese for sandwiches or wraps, and it's usually Munster or American. I buy shredded cheese for random things, and it's usually the 4 cheese Mexican blend, with the occasional Italian blend.
I would only but a cube for shredding purposes. I buy slices for sandwich purposes. I'm talking about supermarket cheese here. Good cheese I buy wedges.
