So since a feeding schedule is doctors orders I'm trying to compile a good set up.
I'm going to try hard to continue to only let Pey nurse every 2-3 hours. I don't intend to offer it to her every 2-3 hours, but more so I will stop refusing her access after 2-3 hours. Does that make sense? I mean she just nursed at 9 and just came up to me asking for more. *sigh* my little boobaholic.
Anyways the times given on the schedule are just allotted times since the nutritionalist said to only allow food consumption in 15-30min intervals depending on snack or meal. (Holy run on).
I will have to adjust times a little on days she sleeps in, or we are out, or she takes an early 11am nap vs her normal 1:30 nap. But I will try to keep the timing between things fairly consistent, just maybe not the time on the clock.
What do you guys think? *the bedtime routine is the same it's been for months so that's pretty set.
Wake up Nurse 8:30-9 Breakfast 9-9:15 Nurse 11-11:15 Snack 11:15-11:30 Nurse 1-1:30 Lunch 1:30-1:45 Nurse Nap 3:15-3:30 Snack 3:30-3:45 Nurse 6-6:30 Dinner 6:30-6:45 Nurse 8:30 Bath and PJs 9 Quiet time + nurse 9:30-10:30 bed
What time does she wake up? Can you offer breakfast before nursing?
Otherwise, looks good to me!
She wakes up anywhere from 7:30-9. We bed share so it's hard to deny her nursing in the morning. I sleep with my nursing tank open all night. Plus I can't tell if she's nursing and going back to sleep or nursing to get up for the day.
