Do you pay attention to the weight limits for things? I was looking at the papers for his bedroom furniture to get a style# for my friend and saw his Changing table/dresser has a weight limit of 30 lbs....oops Noah is more than 30 lbs....so now I am going through and checking the weight limits on everything.
Am I the only one who was totally oblivious to checking weight limits?
Ehh, I don't worry about it too much, but we don't really use anything on a regular basis that would have a weight limit that would be questionable. When we visit friends, they have a cheap IKEA changing table with a 20lb limit. We haven't used that in forever because of the weight limit, but I only pay attention to that one because the piece is rickety.
I checked his swing and bouncy but ignored the bigger furniture. I assumed it had a higher weight limit because I have climbed on it and I am well over 30 pounds.

The PNP bassinet was my first aha. RNP came next. And the car seat was the only obvious, though someone pointed out that the inserts don't belong after a certain weight. I need to further investigate our latch limits though. Most cars limit latch to 45 total pounds. We'll need to switch to lap belt attachment soon.
