Yogurt but he gets mad and wants to do it on his own and he makes a huge mess.

Not really. She hates spoons, and refused purées from a spoon. Thank God for pouches. She mostly eats things she can eat with her hands.

Exactly this. He allows me to feed him yogurt, SOMETIMES. The rest is either finger food or he does it himself with spoon or fork.
And I put the fish oil IN the yogurt. We don't have any here that doesn't taste nasty, so I need the yogurt as a disguise vehicle

Pretty much anything really messy, like yogurt. Although I did let her eat it with her hands yesterday. It was every.where. In her eyebrows, up her nose... But she had a blast.
