Please?! I'm usually a lurker here, but you guys always seem to be so helpful.
For as long as I can remember, my hair has been super oily. Like, wash my hair in the morning and have to put it up by the end of the day oily. Sometimes I'll wash my hair, blow dry it, and it'll still be oily. I've tried every shampoo under the sun and get decent results for a while, but after a few weeks my hair just gets bad again.
I try not shampooing every day, but I usually can't because it just gets oily again.
Does anyone know of any shampoo that seems to really help oily hair? Or home remedies? I'm at the end of my rope here. Sigh.
you can also try using dry shampoo immediately after blowdrying. it would soak up oil as the oil is released, rather than trying to soak up a bunch later.
Mine gets oily at my scalp, I wash it every other day with PM tea tree shampoo. Get a good brush too, like a boar bristle one, and on your off day brush your hair and scalp really well. If you have a few days where you can get away with pony hair you could try going longer than 2 days, it'll help your hair " reset" and the natural oils will condition your ends better than anything as well ( with good brushing!)? I rarely condition my scalp, but when I do it use PM tea tree, massage well and it's awesome tingly
