Weight loss and ring size

I've gone down I think a full ring size. I have a little plastic thing on my ring to keep it from falling off. I've lost 55 lbs since I was married.

I did, when I lost 40 lbs. When I gained 20 lbs back, my smaller rings still fit.

Nope. Weight loss does not affect my ring size.

My H did a year ago. Because his ring is tungsten carbide, he had to buy a new one. But it wasn't very expensive.

I've lost about 35lbs and my rings are very loose. I don't wear them daily because of it.

No, but I lost around 30-40lbs years ago and went down a 1/2 shoe size.

I know people who've gone up and down ring sizes with weight gain/loss.

Right now my issue is that my weight is the same, but my finger is slightly bigger. I don't know if this is from Crossfit somehow making even my finger muscles bigger (I've never done exercise of this style before, and I've been doing it for 8 months) or if it's just random, but my rings are definitely tighter. I don't want to have to resize them!

When I lost 50+ pounds years ago, I had to have my ringers resized. They were very loose and one day I put my hand in my purse and they slide right off. When I got pregnant again, I couldn't wear them. One of my goals is to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight so I can wear my rings again.

I've lost almost 70 lbs. and my rings are ridiculously loose. Not sure how many sizes, but if I'm cold, they just slip down. I don't want to get them re-sized until I'm at goal weight, though, since the jeweler said the less you resize them, the better.

i had to get my rings resized when i lost 30lbs a few years ago. I have long bony fingers though and I was scared i was going to lose them.

I didn't, but DH did. I think he lost around 30 lbs.

I've lost about 60 and my rings no longer fit. I need to get them sized but I want to lose more first.

I lost about 30 lbs before I got married and had to have my engagement ring resized.

This for me too.  I lost 60 lbs, went down 1.5 sizes.  I gained 30 lbs back and didn't go back up it size.

My fingers are actually slightly *bigger* now in the summers, due to swelling from the heat/humidity, than they were 10 years and 25 lbs. ago! I used to be able to wear them all the time, now I wear my diamonds in the cooler weather and my (size larger) plain white gold band most of the summer.
