Does anyone know if you can recycle the bags that LLL gives you when you purchase stuff from them? I have a ton of them and I need to do something with them.
I use the small ones as shoe bags when I travel and the large ones for various things for road trips. I've also been selling some of my less worn LLL items on Ebay and I include a bag with each sale. I believe they'll take them at the stores too and reuse them.
I use them all the time, shoe bags while travelling, I take gym clothes to and from work in them (I leave my gym bag + accessories at work), grocery bags.

I use them as lunch bags or for groceries. We have to pay a tax for paper or plastic bags here (even at clothing stores) so I have a serious lack of plastic bags and shopping bags, because I don't want to pay extra for them. They're like a commodity here. Send them to me! LOL.
You could see if some coaches from an organization like Girls on the Run want them, if they give out "goody bags" to the girls participating in the program. Is there a school near you that participates?
Personally, I use them for farmers' market or light shopping trips (I always have a few in the car for just in case). DH will stash a dry shirt/shorts in one for after a run. DS is allowed to fill one for short car rides or daytrips with his grandparents. They're the perfect size for a change of kid clothes and some toys. This week when we went camping, I lined a few up in a big Rubbermaid tote to keep our kitchen stuff from falling all over itself.
