As I was leaving the store with the girls H asked if we could drive through the car wash. There was bird poop on the hood and H loves the car wash si sure why not? OMG D lost her marbles! Gross error in mom judgement! Poor thing! She went ballistic and I could see her little feet shaking. Horrible. Meanwhile H was having the time of her life. When we got home and I opened the door she just kept shaking her head side to side saying "Ohhhh oh ohhhhh ohhhh" in her worried voice. The irony of scaring the crap out of one kid while trying to entertain the other is slightly amusing but there will be no more car washes with the little in the car.
Hahaha! Oh yes, same situation here. DS1 is constantly begging to go through the car wash, but whenever we do, DS2 is petrified. I'm trying to acclimate him to it *mean mummy*
She finished the box of "egg cookies" we started with but I didn't add anything new this week because instead of my usual 16-24 hours in the office I'm doing 60 hours on site and don't have time to monitor her. But we purchased eggs today and I think we will do pancakes Saturday and Sunday and hopefully try scrambled eggs the following weekend. Due to all the nanny craziness and work stuff I cancelled D's appt next week with Dr. F. because the nanny is available to work that random day. I will reschedule once life settles down. Thanks for asking!
Is it bad that I kind of want to try this now to see if D gets scared? I'm sure she will- she's now scared of the trash truck and gardeners (loud noises) and I scared her by making chicken sounds too loud today...

Flame flame flame! Lol at the chicken sounds too.
The bad thing is that once it started we were stuck because of all the soap. We couldn't just leave.

I wish my kid were afraid of garbage trucks. They're his current favorite thing, and he tries to break free and run into the street each time one passes. Recycling trucks are even better - all of that glass clanking and boxes being thrown.

Well it's better if she sees them. She's mostly scared by loud noises when she can't see the source. I sometimes take her outside to watch them... Maybe I am creating your problem though!
