I have been a 34D since I was 12 y/o. I am now a 36 D (prob should wear a 38 but don't) If I manage to lose weight/get more toned, am I going to lose my bust? I am content with the size and don't know if I would know what to do being significantly smaller! Obviously I am still going to work out, but was just wondering.
When i lost weight, i went down quite a few bra sizs...then again, when i gained weight i went up quite a few bra sizes. It just depends on you and how/where you lose/gain.
When I lost weight I went from 38D to 34DD. I lost more weight in band area then I did in the actual bust area. Everyone is different. You might lose a lot in your chest, you might not.

I have lost 2 band sizes and cup size after a 65 lb weight loss. My sister has not ever gained anything in her chest when she has gained weight so it all depends.
It completely depends. Everyone is different. I lost 70 pounds oh so many years ago and was a 40DD when I started and a 40DD when I finished. I'm now happily 15 pound heavier than my thinnest and a 40B. (with the help of a plastic surgeon...)

I mean, boobs are fat. So if you're losing fat it's pretty likely your chest size will go down. I used to be a D cup.... Two kids and breastfeeding both, plus a lot of fat loss - in probably a B now. Although I'm still wearing my Cs.

thats a really individual question. some people loose weight in their bust first (since its mostly fat) but if you are lifting weights then they will seem perkier so you may not notice a size decrease. just make sure to do chest exercises
It depends on you. I never ever lost my boob size and in fact, it got bigger with every baby even when I wasn't getting bigger. I was to the point of consulting for a reduction when they started getting smaller and smaller with this last year's weight loss. I lost 40 pounds and went from a 36DD to a 34B.

your boob are composed of breast tissue in addition to fat. the tissue to fat ratio is what will determine if you are someone who is going see a decrease in bra size with weight loss.
When I had my inital weight loss (80 lbs) pre-marriage and baby, I went down a cup size (DD to a D). Post-baby (and baby weight loss of 40 lbs and about 5 lbs lighter than pre-baby), I'm now a C.
Honestly, I like them smaller. I just wish pregnancy/breastfeeding hadn't completely deflated them. However, everyone is different. My mother-in-law's grew with each of her babies and she had to have a reduction. You just never know!
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee
Like.others have said, it really depends on your body. I lose weight in my boobs by just THINKING about exercise, but can't cut the fat in my hips to save my life.
When I lost weight, I went down in band size. The first band size drop had me go up in cup size, the next band size drop had me stay the same in cup size. So I lost some volume, but not a huge amount. (cup size is relative to band size)
In the end, I needed to lose weight. I still do. If that means my chest shrinks, oh well. Small price to pay.
Also, the way a body loses weight (from what I understand) is going to be different for every individual. So what happens to someone else might not be the same for you. You probably already know this, though, and are merely looking for trends...
