My H is one of those people who gets up 10 minutes before he has to leave the house. He doesn't have time to eat breakfast and he doesn't pack a lunch. I try to pack-up leftovers from dinner for lunch but he usually forgets them. So either he doesn't eat until dinner time or he buys gross fried/sodium laden foods from the deli at work (he is a Grocery Manager at a grocery store).
Neither of these options is healthy and I have been trying to get him to eat breakfast. Is there something healthy-ish that is a good grab and go breakfast? His idea was to buy some chocolate fudge pop tarts to eat on the way I would prefer he eats something with less sugar then a bowl of ice cream.
You can make a 13x9 pan of baked oatmeal and cut it into squares, then wrap individual portions. A friend of mine makes a big batch of mini-quiche "egg muffins" every Sunday and reheats them as needed.
i will pre-make DH sausage, egg, cheese on english muffins, he just has to throw the muffins in the toaster and egg and cheese in the microwave real quick...though he prefers the oven, but that takes longer.
Also i have done orange cranberry breads or muffins
