Do you have a baby book for your child yet? Where have you found cute ones? How much is reasonable to spend (I know this varies), I'm looking at one for $40 and that seems sort of expensive.
I thought about registering for one but want want to get one pretty soon (my shower isn't until Oct.). I want to record some pregnancy memories/milestones before I forget - stuff like food aversions and cravings, when I started to feel kicks, etc.

I loved a bunch on etsy. They were about $60.
I ended up with a $30 one from this store called Francescas tho. It's completely non-tradiional and looks more like a bound book than a huge baby book. I bought it because I had stalled long enough, it was right in front of me, I had a gif card, and it is very simple and doesn't scream "baby book". I'm pleased with it, though it might be a bit small.
I would've paid up to $75 for one I customized off etsy though.
H got me a cute one from amazon. I haven't started filling it out yet...I hope I can keep up with it! Imaging how busy life is about to get...It looks rather, uhh, involved.
I bought this one from Paper Source link. It goes along with the nursery theme I want to do. I haven't started filling it out but I might pull it out tonight and work on it a little. My mom gave me mine when I moved out and I love having it so I want to have something to give the baby when he/she is older.
I bought the crazy Ruby Love one from Etsy, but I really love it.
My only beef is that in the "about mom and dad" section, mom is supposed to fill in "favorite fashion trend", and dad gets "favorite sports team".
Good to know, that's what I was going to order too. I guess I'll just cross out "favorite fashion trend" for me and replace it with "favorite sports teams."

I was debating whether to do that, or just fill in "_____ team jersey"
This seems like the sort of thing I'd buy with good intentions and then never ever fill out. I would like to do a simple scrapbook of some sort though!

LOL switch it up then girl!
Oh, I will! I'm just annoyed that it's even an issue. Like, cover your bases and just leave a few blanks for "favorites" - no need to assume dad loves sports and mom loves peplum skirts.

I really like that one @rubywinchester ! Good price too!
I've now fallen down the rabbit hole of separate pregnancy books. I might get one to record what I'm going through now and then get a more simple/cheaper baby book that omits the pregnancy stuff.

I got one.that's sorta cute.from my insurance company as a gift, and am.thinking of just buying a big pretty bound.sketch book which I'll just ass all my own stuff.too, instead of just filling something out...

Yeah it's odd that'd be so specific in this day and age. Maybe they thought they were cute...but they failed.
I have the "moms one line a day" journal that I know I will be good with. Writing a sentence every day or so will be much easier and more of a habit for me.
For photos, I am going to make a photo book each year.
I was gifted a pregnancy journal last time so I added a second date to each page & will try to keep that updated.
For DD's first year I used a calendar (I think it was Classic Pooh themed) that hung in her room so it was so easy to jot down milestones or family events. That was easy & I actually stuck to it so I'll do that same for Baby 2. After DD's first birthday I made a photo book with info from the calendar (this month we did xx, your favorite toy was ..., etc). It might be ambitious but I'd love to make another since so much happens in the first year.
