What event are you training for/date? Pensacola 1/2 marathon
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Yesterday: 1.5hr hot yoga - ahhh Today: 2 mile run Wednesday: 3.5 mile run Thusday: weights Friday: 4mile run Saturday: i will probably be fishing all day - so a forced "rest" day Sunday: depends on how tired i am from the fishing trip. maybe a easy paced 3 mile run
Any injuries or problems? nah - i feel good, yoga last ngiht helped!
Highlights from last week? first 4 mile run EVER - 10.05min/mi - stoked!

What event are you training for/date? I am blissfully not training for anything for another month
What does your training schedule look like for the week? my plain boring regular workout schedule is Mon: 3 miles, Tues: 5 miles and core strength, W: off (doc. apt.) TH: bootcamp, Fr: Off, Sat: 6 mile run

What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sunday: 56 mile ride Monday: off Tuesday: track Wednesday: try to get in a two hour ride, might be more like an hour Thursday: traveling to Omaha. Nothing Friday: swim OUTSIDE in the HOT weather!!! Saturday: Ride an hour or two

What does your training schedule look like for the week? long run of 11 miles this weekend. i havent run more than about 7 since my last HM about a month ago, so that plus the heatwave should make for an interesting run.
Any injuries or problems? nope, though the kayano 18s arent exactly achilles friendly. blech.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? M: 3m run, body pump, 1600m swim; T: 18 mile ride which has turned into a 4 mile run; W: 6 mile run; R: 2 hr ride; F: rest; S: 15 mile ride, 3 mile run brick; S: racing a 10K
Any injuries or problems? Yes My mind is in such a training funk. Also, my neck is so tight that Im skipping a bike ride because I can't turn my neck to see cars. I'm hoping to get a massage tonight.

Blizzard. But really, I would skip the workout. Is that why I don't win races and still need to lose a few lbs?

What event are you training for/date? I'm training to start training for my 1/2 marathon, lol.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? S: 2.5 miles, M: Strenght Training, Tu: 3 miles, W: elliptical or bike?, Th: rest, F: 2 miles and strength, S: hot yoga
Any injuries or problems? Nope
Highlights from last week? H got me a Garmin 110 for my birthday and I used it for the first time. I love it!
If you had to train for an hour in one of these conditions, which would you choose? Hmm, probably the heat. I'm weird like that.
What event are you training for/date? Sort of half ass training for a half on August 11. I'm just not totally committed yet.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sun-3 mi Mon - rest Tues - 4 mi Wed - 40 min tempo Th - 3 mi F - rest Sat - 9 mi
Any injuries or problems? I think I'm working into a minimus and medial glute issue, so I'm stretching a TON. I really need to get back to lifting. When I stop lifting, shit just dies.
Highlights from last week? An awesome, music-free 8 miler on Saturday in 72 degree/75% humidity Kentucky.

What event are you training for/date? Nothing specific. I have 2-3 more mountain bike races this summer.
What does your training schedule look like for the week?Sunday-Race Monday-60 minute easy recovery ride Tuesday-intervals. Either 2x10 minutes or 3x5 minutes
Any injuries or problems? I tweaked my right ankle preriding the mountain bike course on Saturday. It's tender but won't affect my training. I tweak it a few times a year.
Highlights from last week? 4th in Sunday's mountain bike race
If you had to train for an hour in one of these conditions, which would you choose? That's easy. -100 degree heat with a blazing sun and high humidity is just about typical Atlanta summer weather. I ride in it a lot.
What event are you training for/date? half in Sept., full in Nov.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? 40 ish mpw (m-2, t-10, w-2, th-10, f-6, sa-6x800's, su- easy run at the beach(!)

If you had to train for an hour in one of these conditions, which would you choose? I would probably pick the Thanksgiving dinner one, because I typically don't eat that much at Thanksgiving - so I would probably be least miserable with that one!
What event are you training for/date? Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure 5k on Sept. 8. My first 5k ever!! Running for my aunt, who is in her third round with breast cancer.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Well, I just ran 2 miles today in insane humidity, and I will be doing p90x chest, shoulders, triceps tonight. Tomorrow, I will not be running because my calves and upper thighs are on fire and I just need to take a day off; I'll probably bike. Run/lift with legs Wednesday. Off day Thursday due to a huge, long swim meet. Run Friday and Saturday.
Any injuries or problems? Do shin splints count? My left leg seems to get them something terrible, but only when I run on the treadmill.
Highlights from last week? Ran my first mile without having to stop to walk for a bit! Now I'm up to 1/5 without stopping!

5* and blizzard! I'd actually get to use some of the hard core winter gear that I haven't touched since I moved to the south.

5 degrees with blizzard conditions, because it is the only choice that I have come close to before (ran 18 miles 15 degrees and near blizzard conditions). At least you can dress for that.
What event are you training for/date? Rhode Island Half-Ironman on July 8
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sun: 8 mile run; Mon: off; Tues: 6 mile run; Wed: 45-50 mile group ride in the blazing heat (yay!); Thurs: 4 mile run & 1 hour Pilates; Fri: 3-3.5 hour solo ride; Sat: ?? Our pool is closed this week, so I may try to do some open water swimming if I can.
Any injuries or problems? Yes, I'm still bruised from my fall last week and I think it may be time for new running shoes.

However, I could handle the rain/hail/wind. In fact, those were the conditions during my second Ironman!

What event are you training for/date? 1/2 marathon, 7/14/12
What does your training schedule look like for the week? 6, 5, 12, XT once or twice (functional training, yoga, whatever - i never really know until it happens)!
Any injuries or problems? no problems per se but my legs have been a bit sore on my last 3 runs - need to stretch & foam roll more often...i have a very mobile busybody baby now so i am constantly chasing her too so that might be part of the soreness...i am never off my feet!
Highlights from last week? no. nothing about last week was good.
