Just have to vent somewhere, hope you don't mind! I know it's normal house selling stuff, but it really sucks to sell a house with a 1 and 2 year old and pregnant!!! We had that first showing last Tuesday (the day after it was listed),which was awesome. They set up a second showing for last Friday. They followed up with a few questions. Nothing major and we had easy explanations for everything (like yes, we put the radon system in and it has a transferable warranty until 2016, yes, the ceiling was repainted- the flashing came off the roof and it was fixed, and no there's nothing wrong with the sidewalk around the house. The guys caulked a crack just as a preventative). So nothing that I can imagine would actually prevent them from offering if they really liked it. We didn't really expect to hear anything over the weekend, but we were hoping for SOMETHING by today, even just negative feedback. I wish they'd just give us SOMETHING, ya know?!? If they're just starting their search, want to look more, thing it's way too high, hate my house, etc. it would be better than the not knowing. I know not everyone gives feedback, but having 2 showings followed up by questions is such a tease!!! Plus, nobody else has set up a showing so that's a bummer.
By 4 days, I figure they're not interested, but my mom said since we haven't heard anything negative so far to hold out hope. But would it really take someone 5 days to make an offer?? My realtor's giving me nothing. They use that stinking automatic showing service so he hasn't even talked to the seller's realtor because all of the appts are set up electronically through a call center. He said he would ask her if they were interested yesterday when he emailed a copy of the warranty, but we haven't heard from him. Can you take xanax when you're pg??

Sorry, I can only imagine trying to keep the house show ready is really stressful. I will admit though when I was house hunting I didn't give feedback on every house I walked through. I don't remember my agent asking me to either.
Yuck! I would call your realtor to ask what the other realtor said. If he hasn't called yet, that should motivate him to pick up the phone.
I didn't give feedback on every house, but if I scheduled 2 showings I wouldn't mind letting the sellers know I was moving on/somewhat interested/whatever.
My realtor told me that SOME people start looking before they get financing. And financing can take awhile, ESP if they happen to be first time buyers. Maybe they're getting financing set up?
Don't be discouraged yet! It took 5 weeks to sell ours. It sucked taking both of our pugs (who don't car-travel well) and Mila out of the house after doing cleaning touch ups. I can't imagine throwing an extra kid in there!!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I guess I have no idea if our realtor left feedback for everyone when we were buying, but I just figured she passed along the random comments we made when we walked through. I do remember some "oh so you say it's too small thens" as she clicked something on her phone. I did think (hope?) about the financing thing as well. It actually reminded us to go ahead and get preapproved while we waited for a buyer so we're ready. I guess my fingers are still crossed. God I hate cleaning.
Not to worry, there is a Jack for every Jill! You'll find your buyers if you're priced right and your house is in showcase condition (doesn't have to be without it's faults, just tidy and paired down the way a stager would want it).
We put our FSBO sign in our yard this evening. The house is about 90% ready for a showing. I'm feeling so stressed already. I am going to totally freak out before our first mid-week impromptu showing. Cleaning up all their stuff and then getting the kid and dog out of the house in the evening is going to be tough!
I hope something else happens for you guys soon!! Your house is gorgeous, I bet you'll have more interest before very long at all!
