I need another new pair of jeans. The three pairs I own are about 3-4 years old and wearing out. (2 pairs of Curvy Ann Taylor LOFT and one pair of GAP jeans) I bought these Real Straight 1969 jeans from GAP the other day. They are dark and fit really well. I generally can't do any jeans labeled skinny because of my awesome big cycling thighs that I work so hard for. I hate boot cut, so I usually get straight cut jeans. I'm a size 12/32, so most premium jeans won't fit. I don't mind dropping $150+/- for jeans.
So, can anyone recommend some jeans to try on that are made for curvier, athletic, sorta stocky cyclists?
Im not stocky, but im curviy-ish and athletic..i really like kut from the kloth, ive bought them at nordstrom and nordstrom rack. I like their skinny jeans, theyre super flatterng and comfy. Full price theyre ~$80ish, but ive never paid full price for them.
I used to love gap jeans, but i dont like them much these days.
The last time I needed jeans (this spring) I went to a Levi's outlet. They had different cuts, rises, and degrees of curve in all different combinations. I forget what combination I bought, but I liked all those options! I also wear straight cut.
Have you tried Joe's Jeans or Hudson jeans? A few of my girlfriends would describe their body type they way that you describe yours and they love Joe's and Hudson. Both of those brands sell size 32.
I recently started having my jeans altered. Life = changed. It's not cheap, but for the first time ever I have comfortable jeans that fit my legs, butt, AND waist. And I have some muscular legs and butt.
My go to pair of jeans right now it a $15 dollar pair of skinny jeans from Old Navy. I basically ordered every pair they had online and returned the ones that didn't work. (Free returns)
I also really like Lucky jeans, I have gotten my last few pairs from Costco. When I lived in Atlanta I would buy jeans from Buckle at Town Center, they offer free hemming.
Does anyone have a link to the Buckle jeans? I found Silver Jeans. I like the look of some of them! I'm probably in between sizes.
Go to the store (The Buckle) and show them your ass. They will help you find jeans to put on it. For a mall store, they are surprisingly good, I have had very good luck there (although some of their styles are a big young for me).

Kut from Kloth. I also have monster thighs and they work great for me. I actually wear a size smaller than my normal size because they are cut generously through the thigh. Highly recommend.
7 for all Mankind are my go to. My thighs are pretty muscular (and out of proportion with the rest of me) and they're great - the perfect amount of stretch, and so comfy.
