I went running last night. Ever since that heat wave, I have been hovering around a painful 20 minutes, but last night I did an easy breezy 25. Woot, woot!
Nice work, muddled! I haven't run since last Friday, but I set a new personal best 5k time! I'm attributing that to the fact that I was out of town in a totally non-humid, perfect 60-degree location. Now I can't wait for fall!

The temperature is one of the reasons why I prefer to do my running in the morning. It's usually between 55 and 60. As we get closer to fall, I may have to switch to afternoon runs, but I'm not sure yet.
I finally downloaded a pedometer app and was disappointed at the distance I've been running. Around two miles including the warm-up walk. I need to step it up, man! Doing week 6 now. Some time I will map out a 5k route and run/walk it all and see how I do.
gault, this is one of my fears... But, in week 6, you only run about 20 minutes total(up until day 3), so somewhere around 2 miles should be about right, no?
