So, I'm starting to get really frustrated with all the stuff in my closet that doesn't fit anymore. I'm obviously not planning on getting rid of anything at this point, but I'm not sure what to do with the stuff that won't fit me for another year or so, since I wind up having to dig through to find the handful of items that DO still fit.
I boxed mine up (Rubbermaid containers) and put it in the basement. I know it won't fit for awhile so there it stays. I'm much happier in a closet full of things that fit.

I've been wearing the same 6-8 outfits for the past several weeks, and I just keep those toward the front of my closet, and everything else toward the back.
If I empty out the clothes that don't fit right now I know I'll want to go buy more clothes, and I'm trying to avoid that.

Thanks, looks like I need to go and get one or two bins for the overflow clothing for the forseeable future.
It doesn't help that there were things that weren't flattering on me in my closet BEFORE I got pregnant, but I want to hold on to stuff until after I'm back in my "normal" size, to see what actually fits and doesn't. I was about due for a closet clean, so it's now a mix of stuff that's too small for now, stuff that needed to get weeded out beforehand, and a smattering of maternity/workable for now stuff.

I put the stuff that absolutely won't fit into vacuum bags. The stuff that might fit again soon after delivery is pushed to the back and the few things that truly fit are front and center. Just have to do laundry way more often...
Uh, am I the only one that left it there and just looks past it? I only have a handful of maternity things that I rotate through each week. I would literally have 9 things in my closet if I got rid of the stuff that I can no longer wear...

No, that's what I did too. I honestly still don't need to wear that many maternity clothes so I just left everything. I moved some stuff that I know I definitely can't wear to the back of the closet.

You are definitely not the only one! This is exactly what I'm doing as well. I did pack up all my fall/winter stuff and move it down to storage, but I do that every year.

We moved into our new house during first tri, so I still haven't unpacked some of my clothes that I know I won't be wearing until next year. I need to go through my fall/winter clothes and pull out what will work (cardigans layered over maternity tops/tanks, mostly) and just keep the rest stored away until next year. I have accepted that my winter 2014 look will be yoga pants, leggings, and sadly still maternity pants, probably. Hoping by the spring I'll be back in at least some of my regular clothes.
Luckily I had a completely empty closet in our guest room. I moved pretty much everything that didn't fit right now into that closet. It felt so good to go into my closet and know that I could wear anything that was in there. I have quite a few cardigans and dresses and some shirts from before pregnancy that still fit so my closet is still pretty full. None of my prepregnancy pants fit so kudos to those who are still able to wear them now!

Nope. Me too. I kept meaning to box it up but ever got around to it.

I just moved all the cloting that doesnt fit to the back, and moved all the stuff that does fit and my maternity stuff to the front. I'm too lazy to try and box everything up.

Nope. I only have a handful of maternity things. If I took away all my other clothes, I'd have like 6 pieces of clothing hanging in my closet!
I will be able to wear most of my regular tops again right away after delivery I expect. They are all mostly loose, and I can access boob easily. No need to put things out of sight; seeing them will be incentive for me to lost baby weight I think. I need a visual motivation.
