I was reading on Amazon that some of the rain boots crack and fall apart after a few wearings. He'll only wear them for a year or so, but I'd like them to last the entire time.
I read an article online that mentioned Xtra Tuffs was having issues with quality control once they moved the manufacturing to over seas.
Do you have a newer pair or older? I assume yours are holding up?
Ah, you're right I remember hearing that now that you mention it. Ours are all older. It's unfortunate because they used to be fairly indestructible. BIL's are 15 or so years old and have gone through everything looking no worse for the wear. I know H really likes his Muck boots over Xtra Tuffs, I'm just not sure if they sell them in toddler sizes. Boggs are very popular up here as well. And I think Hunters might take over the Xtra Tuff crowd if they can't figure out their quality control problems.
