So when i was at costco yesterday, buying my thumbhole shirts, i saw this woman wearing the cutest pants. They were just casual cargoish pants, but they fit her so well and were so cute and i loved them. I almost approached her to ask her where theyre from, but i have a clothing problem anyway, and the last thing i need is more weekend wear.
So then we get on line, and there she is on line behind us. So im totally checking out her pants. When i see it. The fucking lululemon logo. Fuck me. Ive resisted that store for SO long, and now i see these stupid, but super adorable pants and i feel like i NEED them. Need them. Theyre probbaly stupid expensive, but i almost dont care.so i came home and looked on their website, and cant seem to find them.
So......help?
They were a drawstring cargo pants, in a charcoal like color. They didnt look like workout wear at all.
The thing with LLL is all the styles are not always available or in stock thus making it hard to track down if you're looking for something in particular.
They were probably 'coal' studio crops. They are wonderful...they always have black but the other colours change with new lines. I have black, coal and white. They are my go to for the summer.
They sound like the Studio pants aka the loves of my pants life. I'm actually wearing the coal ones right now I die a little bit inside every time I buy a pair because they're so damn expensive, but oh how I love them. A couple of words of caution-they are loooong (you can get them hemmed but will likely lose the drawstring feature at the botttom of the legs...I'm 5ft6 and they're long on me, but tightening the drawstring helps) and in my experience have to be babied so the material on the butt doesn't pill up (I wash mine on cold and turned inside out and line dry and my last pair still did it, the salesgirl when I bought this pair suggested I wash them by themselves on top of everything else bc bits of cotton from other stuff gets attracted to the fabric). So they can be labor intensive...but yet I still buy them. And hope J doesn't see the charge on the debit card

Good to know, thanks!
So do you mostly wear them as loungy comfy pants?
Yep. Running errands, stuff like that. My first pair is especially beat to hell so I wore them as an extra layer on a super cold run this winter, over my tights.
