After my chest X-rays today the Dr. asked me if I have ever been told that I have an uneven diaphragm on the right side.
No. I have never been told this before and I'm pretty damn old.
So now as I'm laying here contemplating my life I'm wondering what I didn't I ask the Dr. what this means. I have bigger issues going on right now like that fact that I can't breath very easily.
Well, diaphragms are normally "uneven" as they accommodate our normal anatomy.
If your doctor is concerned, I would assume s/he was referencing an elevated right hemidiaphragm, which I often see in patient charts with atelectasis and other lung issues.
What is your current dx? Or do you have the report from your chest X-ray?
I'm sorry you're having trouble breathing! Are you in the hospital right now?

I'm sorry. I'm just mesmerized by your quilled brain.

I got nothing other than I was born with a diaphagmatic hernia, so I'm sure mine is all kerflooey and I've not any resulting issues outside of childhood asthma. Sorry you're having trouble, though - hopefully nothing serious!
